Around marina Explanada d'Espanya and the lively nature of a typical mediterranean town you can feel and the beach area of Sant Joan is an attractive holiday destination. Castillo de Santa Barbara Castle, which dominates everything in the rugged Monte Benacantil 166 m high above the town. Behind the Playa del Postiguet starts a lift (ascensor) to the castle. The view is terrific.

It is where God and the world meets, here it is where you can stroll in the shadow of palm trees. On the coast road across follows the yacht port.
